a girl who never took more than fifteen minutes to get ready for her college, today wasted an hour in getting ready for her freshers. but why??? because it was a special day for her, she was going to express her feelings to her Mr. right, so she had to look her best. long black curls resting on her shoulders, dark Kohl black eyes, a tint of gloss on those smiling lips, rosy cheeks, sparkling nails with a beautiful red dress that was it. the poise and grace with which she was carrying herself, she was all prepared for the 'D' day. full of enthusiasm and excitement she went to her college. with the perfect blend of confidence and nervousness she entered the room, all eyes were on her, but her eyes were looking for her friend, her crush, her guy. he was there standing in that corner, smiling at her. she went straight to him , he looked really good in that black suit of his ( she was glad that her dress complimented his suit, they were meant for each other).with usual chit-chatting  the time was passing and she was eagerly looking for an opportunity, and then she grabbed one. she went on to stage with the mike sang a song. although everyone that being a fresher she was showcasing her talent, but she was expressing her feelings and the person for whom they were meant, was understanding them. he could feel the feelings in her eyes, the lyrics full of love and affection for him.

she stepped down the stage and went to have a dance with him, with this music in the air she melted in his arms, she was swinging with the words of the songs with her eyes saying it all., her heart jumping leaps and bounds, she felt great her first dance with her first love, that is what she always wanted, the evening passed away. he asked to drop her at her place if she wished to, this made her feel as if he understood her feelings and said yes( but she didn't know what was awaiting her). it was raining out, everything seemed perfect and so romantic. he dropped her at her place and before she left he said " you are my best friend and i want my friendship to last me a lifetime". she couldn't figure out what she was saying, with a vagueing smile she asked "what happened ?" all he could say was that we are just friends and he left.
something broke inside her, really badly, nobody could hear it but she felt a terrible pain inside. her world had fallen apart. she had tears rolling down her cheeks as he left . her curls no longer resting but were entangled now, blackened eyes were red now, tears rolled down her rosy cheeks, her dress was all drenched and so was her face but with tears. a dreadful heartache was killing her, how could she go wrong?, what actually went wrong?? why did things go wrong at all??
romance vanished, love vanished , her world was filled with sorrows and miseries of broken heart. she trembled and fumbled but he wasn't there to hold her. she fell down but the physical pain was nowhere in front of the pain her heart was inflicted with. she cried and cried and cried her eyes out, but he didn't come to offer his shoulder or to wipe her tears, she was all  alone, there with broken pieces of her heart.
