Carpe Diem!
There come moments when you can't walk away, you simply don't walk away. You stop and look and stare.
You look hard with your eyes digging deep into the view,
You consume every bit of that view, you let it drench every morsel of your body, you mind, your soul.
You focus on it and let every other thing around zone out.
You revel in the silence, the peace that rises from the view and every other sound goes mute.
With not a dry throat or a palpitated heart but a calm breath and sooth heart beat you bask in the glory of the moment.
You look at the sunset the colors and dont compare the contrast or the texture, it just seems perfect every which way.
You zone out and forget about your pending assignments, the game that you lost, the classes that you have, the examinations around the corner, the interview call that you are waiting for, the fight that you have had with your friend.
In that moment you just take a deep breath and live that moment in its entirety, like you first and the last interaction with nature in its full bloom.
The setting sun doesn't upset you, it would be dark one it sets. The light will go out, but who cares. Along with the dark the calmness would prevail and a hope to witness something like this again may be some other day while driving on that bridge when you take a moment out of your exhaustive life and just stop, pause, just seize the moment, Carpe Diem!
