What my make up does?
Kajal helps me camouflage my sullen eyes
Eyes that had wept all night
Mascara hides those tears residing at the corner of my eyes
Tears that play hide and seek at the tune of my heart beat
Battering eyelashes flicker away the sorrows peeking out of my eyes
Sorrows that were dancing across my face the whole night
Crimson of my lips fills in those cracks
Cracks which hold untold stories of my wounds
All the make up helps me hold myself together
Myself, under the weight of life
The weight of living
The weight of expectations
The weight of disappointments
The weight of winning
The weight of failures
The weight of waiting
Thr weight Of waiting
Its My bare eyes that speak volumes
stories of my Past-Present-Future
Its my naked face that emanates my truest emotions; my joys, my sorrows.
And thus on days like these I like to keep my eyes bare and face naked
My eyes with deafening silence
My face more emotive
To find people who can peep into my soul through My barren eyes
People who can read My story in the wrinkles Of my smile
Beautiful...world hangs from the wrinkles of your smile.
